Top Tourist Attractions in Rajasthan

A hushed heaven bathing in beauty and history, Rajasthan is a vibrant state set amidst the Thar Desert, which forms a geographic border between India and Pakistan. From massive, celestial forts and splendid palatial hotels to Indus valley ruins and flamboyant festivals, Rajasthan is drenched in sheer brilliance and is one the most craved travel destination in India and worldwide.

The fascinating state, which is also the largest in India, has inspired thousands of travelers, who chose to tread through its jagged yet alluring landscape, straight into its warm and comforting embrace.

The best time to visit

The harsh summers lasting from April to June witness the temperature rising up to 48°C. Keeping it in mind, you can always head to relatively cooler places like Mount Abu and Ranakpur. Come the monsoon, the temperature begins to fall and you get to witness a transformed state with fewer tourists. Lasting from July to September, Rajasthan during the monsoon is a must visit. With the onset of winters, the tourists yet again begin to slither in. With most of the festivals and attractions planned during these winters, December to March is perhaps the best time to visit the state.

A 6 day itinerary would take you across all the major tourist hubs in Rajasthan and give you a glimpse into its regal, glorious and vibrant history. With its unfading diversity, it’s almost impossible to absorb it all in a duration as short as 6 days, but since almost everyone around is short on time, we’ve tried our best to trim it down and keep it as brief and as facile as possible.
